Lejog day 5 Launceston to North Tawton

 Goodbye Cornwall, hello Devon!

An early setback today even before we'd set off - a flat front tyre in my bike! We wheeled the bikes up a short hill from the hotel to Launceston Castle grounds and, with the assistance of a passer-by managed to change the inner tube. Miraculously the tyre has stayed up all day!

Yet more sunshine today. We rode along fairly quiet A roads for much of the day next to the A30 but one section was along the Granite Way - a disused railway line - which was flat and pleasant. Called at the Pump and Pedal for bike stuff.   Nine hills today plus a brutal bonus one to the accommodation!

Tonight we're staying at an amazing apartment with superb views across fields to Dartmoor. It was built as an office for Sean and Jackie who live in the adjacent house but they decided they didn't need an office so here we are!
