 Rosie and I are hoping to achieve a slow bike journey of over 1000 miles from Lands End to John O’ Groats starting at the end of April. It’s far beyond anything we’ve done before! We’re not in the first flush of youth but we’re very excited about giving it a go. I’ve never done a blog so it’s all a new experience in more ways than one.

Lejog day 1 Land's End to Hayle

 Great start. Sunny and breezy. Not too far! So pleased to get day 1 done. Called at St Michael's Mount en route. Fish and chips in the pub at Hayle this evening.  Got friendly with a ferret last night in the pub where we stayed. Tim was the man, Keigwin the ferret. 9 years old and Tim's best friend. Many thank yous to Sam and Louise for coming with us to Cornwall and driving all the way back to Cumbria today. Much appreciated.
